Last week was a huge week for our Wildcat basketball program, as all six of our boys and girls teams earned victories over Stuart Academy. Monday Night Results – 6th, JV Girls, JV Boys Sweep the Road Matchups Our younger teams set the tone early in the week with strong performances across the board: 6th Grade Boys dominated with a 35–19 win. JV Girls controlled the game from start to finish, earning a 23–11 victory. JV Boys battled in a tight matchup and pulled out a 34–30 win behind tough defense and timely scoring. Thursday Night Varsity Matchups at Valley High School The varsity teams closed the week with two more impressive wins in front of a great Farnsley crowd. Varsity Boys – Wildcats 41, Stuart 38 The boys opened the night with a gritty 41–38 win. The charge was led by Jaxson Harvey, Johnny Williams, and Kingston Green, along with contributions from a host of Wildcats who stepped up in key moments. Justice Evnson controlled the boards on both ends, giving the team second-chance opportunities and stopping Stuart’s momentum late. Coach Webb shared that in a 30-second timeout with less than two minutes remaining, the message to the team was simple: follow through with our practice, our training, and our play execution to finish with a win. The boys did exactly that—executing their sets and trusting their team principles to close out the game. Varsity Girls – Wildcats 35, Stuart 17 The girls continued the momentum with a 35–17 victory. A complete team effort fueled the win: Norriyah Boyd led the way with rebounding, steals, scoring, and strong leadership on the floor. Hadyn Disney added key points and ran the floor well in transition. Mullins and Starling stepped up by contributing scoring inside and securing important rebounds. Cayden Deal and the rest of the roster showed tremendous hustle and grit. With only a 6-point halftime lead, the girls responded with energy, discipline, and toughness—stretching the lead to nearly 20 in the second half. A True Program Win From 6th grade to varsity, every team represented Farnsley with pride, teamwork, and resilience. The Wildcats continue to improve each week, and the future remains bright across all levels of our basketball program.
