Farnsley Middle School

It was a great night in the Wildcat Gym as both of our basketball teams picked up impressive victories over Knight Middle School! The boys basketball team started the night off with a strong 41–28 victory. Jaxson Harvey led the way with 14 points, followed by Jacob Perry with 6. In a true team effort, 10 different Wildcats scored in the contest. The boys finish district play with a 4–1 record, good for second place, and will open postseason play at home on Monday, February 2. The girls basketball team followed with a 33–20 win, led by Nor’Riyah Boyd with 16 points. SaMya Young added 7 points, and DaVyne Anthony finished with 5. With the victory, the Lady Wildcats finish district play undefeated at 4–0, claiming the West Division Championship. The team earns a first-round bye and will open tournament play February 5 at home.
