Farnsley Middle School

The 2025–26 Farnsley basketball season is here, and both the girls and boys teams are looking poised for another big year on the court. The girls team returns their entire starting five after finishing as City Runner-Up in the JV Division last season. With that experience and chemistry, expectations are high as Coach Struggs and Coach Poyntz have the girls working hard in preparation for what could be one of the most memorable seasons in recent years. Their focus, teamwork, and hunger to finish the job have set the tone early for a championship-caliber run. On the boys side, Coach Webb and Coach Miller have the Wildcats playing a fast, unselfish brand of basketball. The team returns its top scorers from last year and welcomes key transfers who are expected to make an immediate impact. The early results are promising — the Varsity and JV squads both went 2–0 this weekend at the Central Jamboree, while the 6th-grade team battled tough and finished 1–1. With depth, talent, and leadership at every level, Farnsley basketball is ready to make noise across the city once again. The Wildcats are locked in and determined to restore Farnsley’s place among the elite middle school basketball programs in Louisville.
